Emergency Pager Numbers

EMERGENCY ON-CALL CLINICAL PAGER:
  • This is an Emergency response line. It is available 24 hours a day.
  • Review with staff when to call and what code to use.
  • New staff should be directed to the pager protocol posting and this should be reviewed with them.
  • Try to provide case scenarios that may be relevant to the house.
  • To page the Clinical On-Call Manager, call 905-572-8169. Enter the return telephone number followed by a 1, 2, or 3.

1-Implies an emergency situation where an immediate response is required (i.e. fire, gas leak, or serious injury to client or staff etc.)

2-There can be response time of 15 minutes.

3-Indicates that this is a non-emergency page. The clinical on-call manager will return your page within one hour.

ON-CALL SCHEDULING PAGER:

  • The same protocol as the Clinical on-call pager applies.
  • The scheduling pager can be reached at 905-546-9487.
  • This pager should only be used when someone has not arrived for his or her shift (staff should wait fifteen minutes and try to contact the person scheduled at home before paging) or when calling in sick (please see protocol for calling in).
  • This pager is not to be used to check the schedule or to find out when you or someone else is working.
  • Schedules are available either by mail, on the website or by calling another house.
